We have a New Moon in Gemini with Mercury Retrograde close to it. Seems a little odd for a new moon beginning, as usually Mercury retrograde pertains to going back and finishing up any leftover business. Close to conjuncting the New Moon point, it says: plant your seeds, but be ready for things to change -- especially the intention with which you planted those seeds. Or, the outcome might not be what you thought. Mercury is the trickster and asks us to do a double-take at this new moon (wait, what do I want again?). He will back up over the Sun and combust Venus on June 7, and station direct right at the degree of this new moon, 13 Gemini, on June 19. So pay attention at those times for more clues and guidance as to the next steps. Keep your eye on the ball, watch your footing, and make your lists for now. Move through the lists at a steady pace, but keep it light.

The Sabian Symbol for 14 degrees of Gemini is: “Bridging physical space and social distinctions, two men communicate telepathically.” This new moon could be about connecting the parts of us that seem separate but dual. Use the internally-oriented Mercury retrograde to examine your relationship with your higher and/or lower selves. Have dialogues with them. Gather information from their input, but resist pushing forth right now with new ideas -- what still can you learn about the old ones? When this new moon becomes full on June 18 at 27˚50' Sag/Gemini, right before Mercury stations, greater clarity may ensue as the Moon conjuncts Pluto, freshly back in Sag for one more go-around there until Nov 26. There's unfinished business as of late. We're in a cleaning up phase, folks. Sift unattached-ly through the dross, and prosper.
